Hi, I'm Dr.Buchi, an optometrist turned tech enthusiast. It's rewarding to solve real life problems and that is how I fell into tech. Mondays-Fridays, I am that usual eye doctor; but evenings and weekends takes me to what I love to do and that is "coding". Besides, balance is important to me, so I also love to hit the gym for some few laps.
I am an honest and hardworking individual. I have been a self-taught programmer in front-end development, but still got into a coding bootcamp to have a feel of being with colleagues and learn from one another. Looking to leverage my experience and skills into an entry role as a junior software developer. I am currently running an internship program with HNG.
Successfully went through a 5 weeks coding bootcamp where I learnt and showcased my skills in HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap5 and JavaScript.With this experience, I was able to work as a team on an Events static webpage which got the Judges wowed. Also had a hands-on on UI/UX & Graphics design with the use of figma, adobeXD, & coral draw
This was the beginning of my journey into the world of programming. I practiced and built few projects on a self pace.
Learnt how to build beautiful webpages without the use of coding skills. This initiated my drive into frontend development
